Draft for review by a Kenyan advocate before publication. Complete the operator, contact, provider and retention details in the Privacy Policy before publishing an approved notice.

Responsibility

ErrandGo is under Trinity with independent day-to-day operations. Its data controller is [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. [CONFIRM REGISTRATION AND PRIVACY CONTACT]. This page does not claim an ODPC registration or an appointed Data Protection Officer.

What the service does

The shared Privacy Policy covers customer and runner accounts, verification, bookings, messages, receipts, payments, essential browser cookies, device preferences, notifications and location. Permissions and operational access should be limited to the purpose of providing and protecting the service. Trinity affiliation alone does not authorise unrelated staff to access ErrandGo records.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to see your data, correct inaccurate information, object to processing or request deletion where the law permits. Other rights, including portability and limits on solely automated decisions, depend on the circumstances and applicable law. Device permissions control location and push notifications. Marketing preferences can be changed in Settings; necessary account and transaction messages may still be sent.

Making a request

Open Help in the app or website and choose a data request category, or use Delete account in Settings. The support contact shown in Help can also receive requests. [ADD VERIFIED PUBLIC PRIVACY EMAIL AND POSTAL ADDRESS]. We may verify your identity before disclosing or changing records. Keep the request reference so you can follow up.

Retention and security

Account deletion does not necessarily erase transaction records, open disputes or backups immediately. [APPROVE RETENTION PERIODS, LAWFUL EXCEPTIONS AND A DELETION PROCESS]. Passwords and verification codes are hashed; authenticated access and staff permissions protect sensitive records. Hosting, provider contracts and backup safeguards must also be reviewed before launch.

Breaches and complaints

Suspected breaches should be escalated to ErrandGo support for assessment and any notification required by Kenyan law. You may complain directly to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner. [CONFIRM THE INCIDENT RESPONSE OWNER AND PROCEDURE BEFORE PUBLICATION].
